Western Dairyland EOC Inc. is a non-profit Community Action Agency working to alleviate poverty-related conditions in West Central Wisconsin. Our Head Start program is hiring one full-time Early Head Start Home Visitor in Jackson County.
The home visitor is responsible for providing comprehensive child development and family support services to low-income families with infants and toddlers, and to pregnant women and their families through weekly home visits. Based out of the Black River Falls Head Start center at 905 Alder Street, this position requires frequent travel throughout Jackson County.
A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child & Family Development, or a closely related field is preferred. The ideal candidate has a home-based Child Development Associate or comparable credential. Trainings and mentoring will be provided upon hiring.
This is a salaried, year-round position starting at $16.83 per hour and is negotiable based on education and experience. Western Dairyland is a qualified employer under the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. Head Start provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to support staff development.
