Kinship care, defined as other family members taking care of a child when their biological parents are unable to do so, is becoming a growing need in Western Wisconsin. Western Dairyland Head Start is excited to announce its new Kinship Care website. This easy-to-use resource provides information about Kinship Care, county-specific contacts, taking care of children as a grandparent, and navigating behavioral and mental health challenges that children struggle with.
